Dr. Janani completed her bachelor’s degree from India and travelled to the UK, for Speciality training in Dermatology. She obtained Masters in Clinical Dermatology from Cardiff University in the UK with honours and was awarded distinction for her thesis on Congenital blistering skin disease and Gene therapy. With an aim to gain more experience in Clinical dermatology she chose to work in the National Health Service in the UK.She worked as a Fellow trainee in the Norfolk and Norwich University hospital NHS trust, UK. During her training in the NHS, she attained Diplomate in Dermatology from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. She also has special interest in teaching and has offered lectures on various topics in dermatology at University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK.With interest in research and medical writing, she has presented papers at international dermatology meetings. She has also published articles in International dermatology journals on different topics.Her interest extends to cosmetic medicine and she has acquired Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She is well-trained in different advanced techniques to treat skin, hair and nail issues and aims to inculcate these techniques in her clinical practice to attain better results.
