StemLab’s cell reprogramming technology is based on the pioneering scientific work done by Professor Seungkwon You of Korea University. He has from early on focused on discovering molecular pathways that will engender early development stages of various cells that can be of clinical value by using methods that are clinically safe.
Our company builds upon his scientific work by further refining the cell reprogramming process and developing cells that have the highest clinical applicability potentials. Currently we are working on expansion of hair follicle cells, skin cells and cells of the central nervous system.
We aim to take our technology further by combining our reprogramming technology with medical imaging technology to enable bioprinting, a newly emerging field of tissue engineering. In fact, we see no limits in expanding our technology into various fields of personalized healthcare.

Our business also features pencil-beam bone densitometer using dual energy x-ray absorptiometry based on central bone type system to achieve high accuracy coupled with intuitive user interface. The system also allows medical professionals to further inspect high-risk regions including spinal column, pelvis, and wrist and provide reliable analytical results for both clinical and research purposes.
