Abhay Sharma, Ar. Vijay Ghotge and Ar. Devadatta Ghotge. Presently, Ar. Sachin Mujumdar along with three partners Ar. Uma Ghotge, Ar. Deepa Naik & Ar. We have a panel of specialized consultants for providing support consultancy in fields like Electrical, HVAC, & Utilities. Our expertise in hospital buildings is very widespread. We handle green field projects and also brown field projects with complete efficiency and care. The brown field projects need a lot of detailed planning to be done in terms of design and execution. We will like to specifically mention about two similar brown field projects. The first one is Sahayadri Hospital at Karve Road, Deccan, Pune. Here, there were existing 8 floors and we extended two floors above. The hospital was in working condition throughout the period of construction. This was done well, without much hindrance to the existing set up. On the OT floor we added 3 new OTs’ and those were all modular. This was indeed a challenge but it was successfully executed. The second example is Sahayadri Hospital at Hadapsar, Pune, which was a green field project initially, but within a couple of years they bought an adjacent plot and there was an extension to be done to the existing hospital.
