1978 July
Established by K.Sotomatsu, current Chairman and Managing Director, who, based on 20 years of experience in export trading in the markets of India, Pakistan, South East Asia and Europe, started export of Electronic Components, Raw Materials, TV, Audio Visual and Sound products to Italy, India, and Pakistan.

1981 September
Started Toshiba Medial Equipments Business to India Market with sales, installation and maintenance service operations in the market place through the local agent.

1992 July
Established Erbis Singapore Pte., Ltd. in Singapore to commence export of Sony, Toshiba and Kenwood Audio, Video, CTV, Home appliances and also electronic Components manufactured by major Japanese manufacturers' overseas production plants, to India and Bangladesh.

1994 August
Set up Branches in Madras, New Delhi and Bombay, requested by Toshiba, with the local recruitment of human resources for direct sales and maintenance service operations for Toshiba Medical Equipments.

1996 October
Established Erbis Engineering (BD) Ltd. in Bangladesh to initiate direct sale, installation and maintenance service operations of Toshiba Medical Equipments.

1997 April
Established Erbis Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd. in New Delhi, which is a 100% foreign invested Indian company. This is to provide new products manufacturing and sales in India.

1998 March
Set up a local agent in Nepal to initiate sales and after sales service for Medical Equipments.

2005 February
Approved ISO9001 in India.

As of 2012 January Since the establishment of 3 branch offices in India for direct sales in August 1994, the size of the Branch network has consistently been expanded from time to time accordingly to necessity, increasingly entailing the local recruitment of human resources. At present, 160 local employees are now actively working at 13 branches and 11 sales offices. In addition, the Company's objectives for the sales expansion of Medical Equipments have also been strongly supported by a lot of Dealerships all over India.
