Electra Portable Ventilator is a unique and versatile ventilator device designed for patients suffering from respiratory disorders. The VITAL Ventilator (as it is originally called by NASA) has been designed by NASA and JPL, and is approved by the FDA as an Emergency Ventilator. With technical advances and along with added modes and features, Electra Portable Ventilator is better equipped to fulfill the requirements of those needing ventilator support in clinical states such as low compliance, high resistance, hypoxia and hypercapnia.
Additionally, it also serves a targeted subset of the patient population suffering from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) caused by COVID-19. Aided with BiPAP and High Flow Oxygen Therapy, it facilitates Apnea back up in assist control, when a patient initiates a spontaneous breathing. Electra Ventilator also offers CPAP, SIMV, Pressure control, Volume control modes in invasive and non-invasive options.
It is lightweight, easy-to-use, and connected digitally via a Healthcare App, making the machine accessible, for doctors and medical professionals from anywhere in the world.

Electra Healthcare's manufacturing subsidiary Electrotherm Solar Limited was among the top 4 organizations from India and among 27 companies from across the world to be awarded with the license of manufacturing VITAL Ventilator. It is a collaboratively-designed, indigenous Ventilator machine by NASA and JPL in June 2020. This enabled Electra Ventilator to be right at the core of the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, empowering medical facilities to aid people suffering from ARDS. In April 2021, Electrotherm Solar Limited was selected among several companies in India to manufacture and distribute VSSC/ISRO-designed 'Shwaas' Medical Oxygen Concentrator. This once again highlights the credibility of our organization's manufacturing capacity and prowess.
